So, has anyone got their car ready for Spa yet?
I know there's still a bit of time to go, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to get the car ready. In the last month or so the car has been re-mapped by Leighton (Flea), and Joe (FCSS) fitted new belts, new clutch (CG fast-road), some slightly used red-stuff pads (from Leighton) and new Castrol SRF brake fluid.
I thought the car was ready after that, but there's a noisy top-mount and now some quite noisy ARB bushes too I think. That means I'm probably going to be making a call to Joe again soon to replace my top-mounts, wishbones, drop links, ARB bushes and maybe CHOD before June. And I'll probably need to buy some spares for the trip.
It all keeps stacking up. My NA never needed all this stuff done... And there's still the Bristol Auto Moto and AutoItalia Brooklands meets to get the car all shiny for in the next month. Busy busy busy.
How's everyone elses progress?
James

Sounds good James I was after those red stuff pads GRRR Got some nice new Yellow stuff ones now What spares are you thinking of bringing? The pads were the right price at the right time Not as track-suited as yellow stuff, but the car is my daily driver too so I need pads to work from cold too. As for spares, I don't really know. I was thinking maybe hoses (CHOD sounds like an essential anyway), but not sure past that. Anyone got any suggestions? James

Mine is in the bodyshop to fit and spray the LE kit. After that it needs new oil and filter, brake fluid, and if i can a short trip to the UK for a exhaust manifold, DV and Flea map, but i'm afraid that will be for after Spa

That would be great, but i don't know if a slightly blowing manifold would make a good mapping possible?
