Sounds like a fun project, although it will no doubt run into millions and millions of pounds to acheive. I used to have to deliver/collect goods (normally wings) from a company based at Duxford while I was trucking, who restored/repaired/manufactured classic aircraft, and who had several Spitfires on the go - Had a nose round this one, and although I had a degree of the school boy grin just being close to it, what struck me most about it, was just how flimsy and basic it really was. Built quickly, with wafer thin materials, and to really no high standard. The plane in the picture was apparently owned by a group of companies who used it as some kind of PR toy, and was reportedly worth around £2 million. Crazy as there is probably only about £100 of metal in it
