Guy's, I need some advice on the best software to do the following for me. I need to use this over 5 separate locations and it needs to be compatible enough to import to word or excel to allow me to summarise at the end of the month.

I need to log. (I have the tools to collect the data)

Ambient Temperature
Soil temperature
Average wind speed
Rainfall amount
Maintenance practices programmed - there will be a number of these
Fertiliser input
Irrigation frequency and amount (mm)
Disease incidence
Pest incidence
Plus loads more......

As I say, I need to do this for a number locations and also incorporate pictures.

Lastly, I'd really like to use my iPad, though could use the Mac

What I need is a good data logger specific to my needs above....

Little bit of a tough one I agree - Suggestions?

Is there an internet connection?

I would suggest a central database, SQL or MY SQL hosted on a webserver. You could then interface with the database via a webpage. You can then create some standard reports by querying the database however you like. All of that data can then be EASILY exported to CSV or EXCEL Format or however you like really...

I'm going to agree with Mario, it's cross platform and open. It won't care what device is used for the logging with this method.
If you need some one to setup the server and database as well as the front end let me know, I have a rather board mate who is an SQL dev

Thanks guy's, Sam, can you speak to your friend? Get me a cost if I lay out what I want exactly?

Cheers
