Is this a good alterative for upgrading the standard front brake discs? For every day use. They have two different types. SJ and the g88. Big differents between those two?Thanks.

SJ disc is both grooved and drilled I belive while the G88 discs are grooved only.

How much have you been quoted for the Tarox stuff Silver ?

Pagid is a better quality and usually for about the same price.

Sport Japan are 12 groove (ithink) and drilled holes.

G88 are 40 Grooves (IIRC)

Both are same price

Tarox drilled and slotted SJ rear disc: 75 BP
Drilled and slotted front disc: 179 BP

Tarox G88 slotted front disc are also 179 BP
And the rear are also 79 BP.

The standard ones from a 20vt are Brembo's, right?
I don't know why some people don't find them oke.

So I just want something else to try, but for every day use.

They have also a total upgrade brake system.
A 10 pot caliper whit 330mm disc for 1560 BP.

Silver I had G88`s on my car for 14 months ,I was not impressed with them at all.... warped,so they changed them warped again after 13 months...no change this time,there was a big lip already formed on the edge of the disc and the grooves where half worn too,the 3G`s I am running just now are far better
