Maybe we all should add good positive comments. Who knows we could push up prices. If not it would be good PR.

Good opportunity for a bit of 'education'

I've just challenged Chris Harris to take mine for a test drive.....

I think the coupe is far far from a shed but it is the nicest 'shed of the week' theyve had on there. Doesn't do a lot for the image of the coupe though frown

Perhaps I should have used a smiley - Chris is an accomplished driver who would have no problem with my car (after all, he's used to almost 500bhp from his own car)

It would simply be nice to get him in a modded Coupe to hear his thoughts

some pretty good comments. The one that made me smile was "For comparison, a Bentley Conti GT didn't actually feel THAT much quicker on the same bit of road"

@Nigel, I would love to hear someone like Chris Harris or 5th gear review a 450-500 bhp coop, just out of interest. I don't mention anyone from top gear as I think they would just take the piss.

What car does Chris Harris have, is it some sort of BMW? (Think I saw it in a magazine not so long ago, maybe 9 months)

No - he has one of the run-out 4-litre 911 GT3-RS - VERY capable car, although it's probably a bit track-biased for everyday road use (although I believe he uses it pretty much every day)

And after over 12 years after the birth of good independant specialists people are still under the influence of 'cambelt service is engine out job costing £1400), I wonder how many people have been put off buying one due to this one original statement that horrifies those with no knowledge of the car

Maybe Chris would like a go in mine Nigel, okay it's not a road car but it is a coupe? I think he would be most surprised even against his GT3.
