Hi,
I'm considering one of these front bumpers and just wanted to hear from anyone who's fitted one, I've had a quick search and it seem everyone is pretty pleased with AutoDS items in general but just wanted to know more specifically about this one.
What I mean is, how well did it fit, how easy it was to fit, were the grills a hassle to add, can you keep the oil cooler scoop, is it easy to fit around a FMIC (I have used an EVO 6 one)???
...and anything else you think is relevant.
In addition to this I'm thinking of using Plus/LE side skirts (I like the angles in them compared to the softer PIU ones) and a Zender rear bumper lip/extension - any comments on this combination are welcomed, and if anyone has done it already it'd be great to see some photos.
Thanks, Dave

Thanks, I just had a look for these on AutoDS to se if I'd looked at them already and it seems what I referred to as PIU side skits are actually Zender ones - the same picture is used for PIU body kits and Zender side skits - so yes I've seen them, and they do look good but I think I prefer the more angled look of the Plus/LE ones...
...although my mind is yet to be made up!

Have you seen the PIU with Zender side skirts? That is a good combination too. The best combination.. I guess you may be a little bias though?? PS. No malice in that by the way

the lines of mariusz PIU bumper match the zender skirts better then the LE skirt. Although the original 'continental' PIU bumper matches the LE skirts better than the zender (due to sharper corners) this is mariusz + zender I cant remember who has busa old coupe but that was a continental PIU? and to answer your questions how easy it was to fit? - Easy as swapping a bumper were the grills a hassle to add? - no (although i didnt drill holes for the prongs can you keep the oil cooler scoop? - yes is it easy to fit around a FMIC? - mine fitted round a PA no problems Hope that helps Ninja

Lol, yeah I gathered that, my 'Mariusz...??' comment was intended as a way of asking him to 'shed some light' as suggested by deannn_20VT, however looking at it again it's not very clear that's what I meant!! Looks much more like I'm asking who he is, I will spend a bit more time writing my replies in future

Thanks Ninja, great reply, thanks for answering my questions so concisely Thanks also for adding the photo, I can see what you mean. Although I didn't realise there was another version of the PIU bumper, I like the sound of it but I'm guessing it's no longer available??

Just had the piu front bumper and zender look skirts fitted a couple of days ago and they are a great combo, although local garage did have problems fitting them and had to do a bit of adjusting with the bolts close to the grill and had to remove the foam from the oem bumper but this could be down to the little knock i had with her a while back. Looks great now so im not complaining and i can feel the car is more aerodynamic on the front end which seems much more responsive when steering. I reckon cooling for the intercooler must be better also.

Thanks for the comments guys, and thanks for the pics Mariusz, great to see the two together, and in the right colour for me too! (not the tango'd one that is!)
I think I'm sold on the PIU front bumper and LE skirts option, I love the look of both and I don't think it's an issue that the PIU bumper doesn't continue the lines from the skirts - IMHO (and I'm sure plenty of people will disagree) I think the LE lips that do continue the lines from the skirts make the front end look a bit too fussy.
...although, that said I'm still interested to find out more about the 'continental PIU' can anyone shed any light on this? Is it still available? Because if it isn't I guess it doesn't matter what it looks like!!

Thanks for the link Juanez, I have to agree that does look good ...and thanks very much for the comparison photos Mariusz, great to see them side by side, and that you're confident about you product. For me, the Hungarian one is a bit too deep and too angular, I don't like the sharp edges and it seems a bit too bottom heavy. I like the look of both yours and the Italian one, however with the two side by side I can see that the Italian one has sharper angles to the openings and I think you've done a better job as I like the way yours better mirrors the curve of the bonnet - if that makes sense? So the upshot is I'll be ordering one from you soon! One last thing Mariusz, do you have some photos of the rear bumper with/without the zender lip, just so I can see them side by side?
