wave I do!

However,it's currently in project state,so not seeing much action at all really!Perhaps when it's finished I should work on getting my bike licence laugh or get a little diesel crazy

P.s.Where in Somerset are you?

I used mine as my daily commute and also for long-distance travel for sixteen years; it's been having a rest except for weekends (and Spa) for the last year.

I use mine as my only car. 10,000 trouble-free miles per year (touch wood).

mine has been my daily driver for 5 years now, if they are well maintained they are fine for a daily driver, cue major failure lol

Mine used to be a daily driver and gave me no problems at all. She's now tucked away in a cosy little garage and only comes out at weekends.

Been my only car and daily drive for the last 6 years and 65,000 miles. Can't fault it. Never let me down but that's probably because it gets lots of TLC and is properly maintained.

My wee Bee is our one and only p and j, doing 5k p.a. i.e.a daily with not many miles' journey - fuel consumption probably not as could as it could be. Has needed a top mount, a TRE, lower arm and a stat in 2 years, about to get a new eye in her bonce laugh

She is my honeypie love

[Hm forgot, Mrs Ed knows how to get into this if she really wants laugh ]

I'm about to make mine my only car wink selling my 2004 tdci mondeo - which has given me more trouble in 6 months that any of my coupes put together have in 9 years!!! shocked

Only thing im unsure of is it's on a classic insurance policy - with a 3K a year limit, so I would need to increase this to 5/6K if it becomes my only car. So I'm hoping I can do this.

Im not married / no kids & If I take my niece & family to seaside for a weekend I'm just gonna hire one out wink

I keep mine in the garage and run another car, just because I don't really want to be doing too much welding/ filling/ painting in the coming years. I have no concerns at all about reliability- on that count it would probably be better with a daily run.

Neil Willies should be able to arrange at least a 5k deal for you on the above - I've arranged a 6k deal smile

Mine are all 5K policies with NW - 15K should be enough even with my kids' taxi duties!

My first 3 Coupes were only cars (I couldn't afford more!), then partway through owning my 4th I bought a cheap Micra as a runaround and it made Coupe ownership more enjoyable. The Coupe felt faster after commuting in the Micra and I appreciated it more.

It also didn't matter as much when something went wrong with it, I could still get about smile

Mine has been my daily runner for 8 years now.
I've put nearly 60k on it, it's had the odd niggle but nothing major.
Also i have a BMW 1 series to use at work but at the end of the day i'm glad to jump back into my coop & go home.

Daily driver for the past 5+ years. Only niggles have been a corroded battery clamp and routine consumables.

I asked the same question when I was first thinking of one; can they be used on a daily basis? The answer I was given at the time was a resounding "Yes" so long as you keep on top of the maintenance and don't allow small niggles to build into something bigger.

Not my only car and was never intended to be my daily driver, but every time i go out to the driveway the coupe just seems to call my name. Two of my other cars haven't been used at all in the last ten months. shocked

Had two - only car each time. No problems running em every day, but you'll feel guilty watching the mileometer creep up.

My one and only and probably the most reliable (touch wood) of the cars I've owned which is saying something as I've had two Mondeos; neither of which was unreliable by any stretch of the imagination.
