Right, it's been one bloody hectic week for me. Been working after work (8-11pm) on my two coupes transferring some goodies from my 16VT over on to the 20VT to improve handling. Nothing wrong with the previous setup but I thought that it deserves better and there will be no benefit leaving the goodies on the 16VT as I will never get the money back when selling it.
Anyway, 20VT inherited adjustable Koni rears and front Bilstein B6's, new top mount + bearings + that rubber bits which go on the springs, AVO lowering springs, new track rod ends, and Eibach camber adjustment bolts. Unfortunately, because the 20VT was fully under sealed the springs it came with were painted too... When removing the rears I realised that they are Eibach's... Well, front suspension out again for springs swap so now on Eibacha's too.
Still to be fitted:
- polybushed OEM wishbones,
- lower strut brace,
- upper strut brace (either relocate brake fluid reservoir or get the LE brace),
- bolybushed track rod ends,
- HID Kit,
- Whiteline 22mm rear arb,
- spacers and 17" lightweight alloy wheels,
- boost gauge in a-pillar,
- uprated speakers and mp3 player,
- race pads (either EBC Blue Stuff or OMP 971C) and brake fluid flush with Millers 300+.
Then, TAX, oil + filter change, compression check for peace of mind, tracking and camber adjustment to - 1.15 and off to Bedford Autodrome
