Hello All smile

Just became a member a couple of days ago and thought I'd say hello. Been a lover of Italian vehicles for a long time but have usually had Alfa Spiders and Moto Guzzis.

Finally took the plunge with a 1998 Sprint Blue 20V Turbo and have to say, this is a whole new experience! Just had a stage 2 tune by Leighton at FC Performance and it's just blown me away. You just can't match the punch as the turbo kicks in!!

The design and retro looks of the car does make you feel special when driving. Feel like Steve McQueen laugh

Anyway, looking forward to chatting and attending events in the near future. Drive safe.....

Hi and welcome smile

Look forward to seeing you around maybe.

Have a look in the Social Events section and get your name down for the Tatton Park and Cholmondely meets, as they're not too far away from you smile

Hi Guys

Thanks for your welcomes! Well typically, had a drive out planned for this weekend, but thick snow says otherwise....

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the oil Pondman - thanks :-)

Theresa, yes I'll go straight to the social events section. Would love to see a whole load of Coupes together :-) I do work away on boats quite a bit so it'll be a case of 'when I'm able', but as Markiz says, a regular search around the forum will keep me posted.

BTW Theresa, you must only be down the road from me, do you use the services of Howard and Co at All Italia? I've had nothing but good service with him so far.

I worked there for 10 years, up until nearly 2 years ago.

Out of all the Italian cars I drove and worked on, it was the Coupe that I fell in love with smile

Hi MotoGuzzi

Welcome.
A Moto Guzzi bike would look good in the garage alongside the 20VT! cool

Thanks again for the welcomes :-)!

So you have a wee bit of experience with Italian cars then Theresa! :-) My Guzzi V11 in lime green makes a garish companion to the sprint blue of the Fiat Brilly1....What do you ride road king? (Sorry, don't mean to turn the forum thread into a bike related topic) :-)

Sadly nothing, but I always fancied a Triumph (it was a Trident at the time). I took the bike test years ago but when the family came along, a bike got put on the back burner! cry
A bike is still on the list but I have to make do with the Coupe for now! tongue

In 1976 the second bike I ever wanted was a black 850 T3 California, I saw one in Hameln. love (The first was an 850 Commando in Black love )

Not unsurprisingly, my RK is black...

Hi mate,I got a 1000 Mulitsrada, but I have had my eye on a Guzzi Centauro, since I seen one last year, really fancy the quirkiness of it and the brutal nakedness!!! rotate

Thanks for the welcome proccy :-)

Roadking, have you seen the movie Freebird, with Phil Daniels riding an 850 T3 California? Well worth the watch if you haven't.

Steamer, I'm quite an admirer of the Multistrada. I know what you mean about the look of the guzzis. The Centauro is handsome. My V11 Sport has really grown on me!

Im not too sure about the Multistroodle yet,I had a 748,ST4s before and the Stroodle just feels very detuned compared.
The Centauro is advertised in a showroom in your general neck of the woods, has been for sale since I bought the Multi, back in August, watch this space lol! lick
