Has everyone given up on building high powered Coupes, as it's been very quiet for a long time now.

I think might have something to do with peoples disposable income, not many people have £1000s to on an aging Fiat these days

I thought there were three high powered ones in a recent Auto Italia?

Mine is going to be finished these days... actually I am struggling with crackbrained NPT-threads of my new Accusump.
After mounting it should be ready for a first breaking in...

Why are you having an E85 map done when it isn't readily available in the UK? I hope we're going to see your power runs on pump fuel too.

What fuel pump do you use? When I decided to change to e85 I did some calculations. You will need minimum a 850hp fuel pump to go beyond 600hp. Moreover you will need much bigger fuel lines and a completely changed fuel rail. Original fuel rail has a very restrictive plastic tube inside, which needs to be removed. You will need a high capacity external fuel regulator, please remember: You need about 30% more fuel with e85. And to the end you will need biiig injectors (I use 1200cc). Juergen

Hmmm... E85 and nonsense??? Sorry, but e85 is no nonsense for sure. It deliveres up to 20% more power than pump gas and has a much smoother combustion. We test engines at our test stand with special pressure sensor plugs. What you could see is that knocking (which sometimes occurs for short moments, even on standard engines with normal fuel) tends to go to zero, if using E85. Still better, you can leave a really big safety gap when mapping engines. All engines, my friends have mapped by using e85, are still alive and run very very well.
