Date fail, I'm booked at Castle for the 28th October

I did refer to the October day in my previous post

Friday will be my coupe vs the world (at least what's there!)

Will be watching my vids back immediately to get some indication of my pace!

A few vids to share from my day at Castle Combe last Friday. Was a dry day, and only 30 cars participating, including a 750bhp GTR, a supercharged Lotus, several modded Japmobiles, all of which the old girl competed strongly against, and had a fair amount of interest in the paddock (5 pot warble and general quickness!).

Car held up well throughout the day on it's return to the track after a 10 month absence and a bit of a mechanical overhaul. Added to the list are now:

Rear pads/discs (metal on metal for last 2 sessions, 135mph braking, hmmm)
Rear wheel bearing humming a treat
Broken bonnet release cable (bah)
Out of shape front tyre which stopped short my final session by 10 mins.

Well done dan that was spot on with the vids and write up. It's good to see your coupe back on the track showing that they can still mingle with bigger budget machines ever when you are down on power etc compared to them.

It's good to see that a sensibly modded coupe can do this and not break the bank even still on standard internals arnt you?

Either way good read, good vids and impressive driving (even with the grey EVO blocking you)

Thanks Adam. Yep, still on standard internals, and very driveable on a track day with this sort of power band

The fourth vid on the list is the eventful one Adam refers with the EVO blocking. I'd watch the later ones in my list anyway as the first two would be relatively mild first early morning sessions!
