Was tempted by a red coup on eBay tonight. £685 bin. Rattling engine but good spare engine comes with it.
Called the owner and there are other things.
No red key
Rust
Electrical faults
Engine breathing badly.
Spare engine incomplete
Turbo smoke
Spurious induction kit and missing airbox.

I resisted the urge to buy it now. It was too far away to go and look this weekend and I very much doubt it will hang around at Gary price.
I think I want something better.

Whatever I get won't stay standard. I just can't not make things more "interesting"
