CG offer a good range of replacement units for standard and uprated builds, I've fitted many of their products and tend to steer clear of their paddle clutch now as they're prone to judder which isn't everyones cuppa tea.

350 and above you'll have to compromise somewhere and unfortunately its either judder through a paddle or a knee replacement with the organic.
Both clutches work well but have there own negatives named above.

Organics are slightly more expensive, personally I preffer the paddles but they suit my driving style and as joe mentions above quite rightly there not to everyone's taste.

My contact for organics doesn't do them anymore so maybe joe can help there .

What I will say is the clutch in the link will struggle as if had to remove a box and upgrade because it wouldn't hold.
Its really for slight upgrades.

Anybody have any experience of the dual friction kit? Not in need of a clutch but sounds interesting.

Thats exacly what I wanted to ask aswell. I have asked Andy (I guess) from CG for a clutch to hold 360 -400 . He offered me the same dual friction clutchkit for £300 . Anyone have experience ?

If your pushing 400 you need to speak to mardi gras Motorsport and get the helix clutches.
Most applications would be ok but the 5 cylinder produces exceptional torque which is where the issues lie.
Forget Bhp its advised to mention the torque.

If you want to be brave and save the penny's though the Cg clutch will hold if you alter the flywheel by .5.

Outer clamping face only not the fiction surface.

So do you mean machine the outer face of the flywheel where the cover plate mounts to allow higher clamping pressure? With all c.g clutches or just the dual friction?

Thanks

I'm French and I have bought the dual friction kit... That's nice product, it's perfect for the price!

But with my GT2871R the disc can't hold troque! On the dyno my coupe had 460Nm and the cluctch was limit (this is the max of the dual) and on the second dyo, 510Nm and, the disc was completly out!

I think stage 2 or dual fricion will be able to max 350cv/450Nm!

Ill be planning to run td05h 16g. ( I know its new and there is just a guess what will happen) but idealy ill be running 360 with original internals ( dont want to to run more due to limmits) so I need a good clutch for price and road drivable plus dont want knee replacement as someone mentioned above smile.
What do u reckon avout cg paddles ?
I have seen someone used just a helix clutch friction disc?

td05h 16g, that's different smile

The CG paddle will judder so for your planned build go with their due friction, it'll easily handle the torque and leave more for future upgrades.

If I can help further do please give me a ring.
