Just bought a door for my Fiat 131 sport on ebay . These are nearly impossible to find new . The price was a steal at 89 euros . I panicked and hit the buy it now button . Great except i just got an email from the seller and he wants me to cancel the transaction as it should have been 799 euros plus 101euros postage to the UK . Now for obvious reasons i dont want to cancel the deal . Question can i force him to go through with the deal ?

Personally, I don't think it's worth the hassle. A bit of a monster c0ck up on their part, but ultimately, you will find it difficult to force them to honour it.

Cancel it and report the seller.

I hate people that do this. It's not hard to type the correct prices when listing an item and it's not hard to double check the listing either

Because there's such a large gap between 89 euros and 799 euros I suspect eBay will side with the seller and say its an obvious mistake which they're not obliged to honour.

Ok i will contact ebay today . The price they normally go for in italy is around 380 euros . He has no chance of getting 800 euros for the door ever .Actually one has been on Italain ebay for over a year at 800 euros .
