I've got several cam covers, although none of them good to just fit. All would need a tidy up.

ach! you've less chance of your car overheating over the summer if you haven't got a bonnet.

Okay, will get a look later, though going to repaint it red. Main thing is that it has no hairline cracks.
Have you had it on your car and know it to be sound?

Good man!

This is an Alfa-inspired venue and has to be tested...it has to be said though they do the organisation and for that credit is due smile

We're staying at new lanark (east of the m74 about 1 hour north of Carlisle) on the night before but could try and meet up round there for the rest of the journey (it is about half way between Carlisle and south queensferry). I will be in a fully laden na so won't have your speed never mind trying to keep up with angelo's beast! Richard

New Lanark site has a fascinating history, thanks to Robert Owen's altruistic views on employment and socialism. Maybe that's why you're going!

looking at my trusty road atlas, i was thinking of A706 to whitburn and then picking up the M8 at Jcn 4....open to suggestions though....whereabouts are you?

Looks like that route might cut a corner off for anyone coming up the M74 from Carlisle

we're staying at the youth hostel in new lanark for a couple of nights to make a weekend of it

richard

I'm actually in Whitburn. So could meet you there and then jump on to M8. I'm not sure what route the south convoy usually take... I'm guessing m74 and on to M8 so perhaps we could wait at Jcn 4 if that suits?

this is starting to sound like a plan!

PM your post code and contact number so that we can arrange meet up at whitburn on my way through.

How long from yours to South Queensferry?

richard

do you know?

inline with McDonalds's penchant for marketing strategies following mainstream culture- 10 Coupes in one place can't be ignored and if they new we were coming- I dare say there would be a FIAT-Coupe-burger on offer on Sunday morning!!

I wonder what it would have in it??
