I found an iPad this morning. It was laying in the road as I was leaving my dad's house.

It's a pretty busy main road running through the middle of the housing estate and there aren't any houses which front on to it. There wasn't anyone else around and I'd assume it's been dropped out of a car or something like that.

I'd like to get it back to it's rightful owner but it's passcode locked and there's not a lot to go on.

Any suggestions?

Hand it in at the local police station - the owner may have reported it lost or stolen

Speaking as someone who once left an ipad on the roof of a car and drove off, I know how the owner feels.
