Got my wine red 20vt insured recently.
Low mileage 2000, fully comp including European cover, 3 point 4 years ago and the wife on there.
Im 30, shes 28 and live near west bromwich.
£187 all in. Best quote by far!

Just spoke to these and they're saying they now don't touch cars less than 20 years old!! Anybody else come across that?

My other modern classic, non Fiat it with FJ on an agreed value, less than £100 fully comp, but I want to switch the Coupe this year to FJ as well, as not happy with AF attitude to its customers.

I've just had that, it's not old enough for classic yet I was told.

Lancaster Insurance accept a coupe as its over 15 years old and they do agreed valuation.

Changed my coupe insurance to my brother coupe and added my new 20vt.
Cost for changes were.... £28. And that Includes a £25 administration fee.

As above I was told today for the coupe it needs to be 10 years and older

My insurance was due last month, but after discussing with FJ they applied the Coupe as joint insurance with my Karmann, with a cost of £28 to add, till the Karmann's renewal in July. Further they advised me to do agreed value for free, filled the form in and advised them, basis the running restoration i am doing have agreed the value, great service. AF on the other hand still try and steer you into another deal, even when you have told them you are going elswhere. They do feel like AXA in disguise.

I've been with FJ for over 6 years - obviously even when the Coupe was less than 20 years old??. All Modifications declared/Garaged/3000K a year/Agreed Value/UK recovery etc etc £320

I don't even shop round anymore, should do really! I just keep renewing with them. As every time I have shopped around I cannot get the same cover for same or cheaper

Just changed my insurer to FJ. was previously with AXA but that was before the restoration costs.

Garaged/Agreed value/Salvage buy back/Legal cover/EU Breakdown cover/Max 5K miles.

Cost was £420 which appears more than others have been quoted, but that includes the EU breakdown cover that I need for the road trip to Italy in the summer with no ambiguity around the car being 20 years old.
