Yes, another annoying MOT pass thread. Took the yellow Plus in for MOT, knowing it needed two new front tyres, so had pre-ordered a couple of Toyo Proxes, took her in and she passed, no problems.

So she's a happy banana and I'm a happy bunny.

How could a yellow plus fail?

Well, another year goes by. 6,000 miles added and another straightforward MOT pass with only advisory being worn rear brake pads.

So my 'Nana Plus is happy, but sadly my Ink Black VT6 suffered a terminal engine failure about three months ago, when the oil cooler pipes let go, dumping all of the oil within two gear changes. Seized engine. It's a real shame, as it was probably the sweetest running of all five Coupés that I've owned.

So, I'm looking out for a 20VT engine, as I feel she's worth saving. Have saved her once from Cat C oblivion, with Joe's help at FCSS (he did all the work and I paid ) and want to save her again.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Shame to read about the ink black one though I was lucky when my oil cooler pipes went, as it must have started happening on the dual carriageway I was on and then about a mile off that, I parked up at work and the car decided to dump the rest of it's oil on the car park

I'm glad you're going to save the Ink Black one and hopefully you'll find a decent engine for it
