The time has come to part with my 16v Turbo in Ink Black which has covered just over 128k.
It has Cream leather seats which are extremely rare. I have only ever seen 2 other sets in this country so it is quite possibly the only Ink black 16vt with cream leather.
Chrome dial rings fitted to the dash. ( I also have rings for the front door speakers included with the car)
I have the silver/blue metal key and also the dark red code key with a Coupe club leather keyring along with 1 alarm fob which doesn’t seem to work as the alarm doesn’t arm or sound in any way.
There are masses of receipts and old mot’s etc detailing the history of this car.
MOT is until September 2018 and all advisories from last year have been addressed. The corrosion
advisory was just surface rust on the underside of the sills and a bit in the front inner arches which was stripped treated and painted.
18 x 7.5 Kei forged alloys with 235/35/18 tyres which are virtually new and match the original tyre size within 1% and 20mm hubcentric spacers. The car can come with the black alloys shown in the pictures if preferred (or both sets)
2.5” Stainless steel exhaust from the cat back with an Autodelta ECU chip resulting in approx. 240bhp at 1.2bar boost. It also has uprated ignition leads and Iridium plugs. I also have an alloy intercooler which can be included.
Refurbed calipers/sliders front and rear with new drilled and grooved MTEC discs, Pagid standard pads and new flexi hoses. It also has new handbrake cables.
Fitted with BC Racing coilovers to allow ride height and damper hardness adjustments. There are adjustable camber top mounts fitted also. The ride height is currently set around 30mm lower than standard to easily clear speed humps etc. but still handles very well.
Wouldn’t take much to make a great track day car if that’s your thing. I also have a front strut brace which can be added to the deal if required.
It has fresh 10w40 oil and filter at MOT time every year and the coolant and brake fluid have also been changed in my ownership.
The timing belt was done in Nov 2013 at 111000 miles so it has covered 17000 miles since it was last changed but I will include a brand new genuine belt with the sale.
Engine holds good oil pressure and the cam lobes were checked at the same time the belts were done.
In the last 2 years it has had a replacement airbag ECU, new front wishbones, anti rollbar links, steering arms and track rod ends along with steering rack gaitors and 3 out of 4 cv boots (I have the last one to go with the car) new battery and alternator plus belt, clutch master cylinder, both ignition coils with uprated 8mm ignition leads, wheels and tyres with spacers, pollen filter, refurbed scuttle panel, bonnet support struts etc.
The rear swing arm bearings were done in 2015 at 118000 miles and it had a new fuel pump around the same time.
Clutch was last changed in 2009 and is now starting to slip once it gets full boost in the higher gears. It still drives fine and will still give full acceleration if using all the revs. Changing up earlier will make the clutch slip if you floor the throttle so ideally it will need a new clutch soon.
It has good bodywork for it’s age with minor surface bubbling on the rear arch lips which are otherwise solid. Two of the rear light ‘cups’ also have some bubbling but as you all know these can be removed for repair or replacement if needs be.
There are some scratches and very minor dents commensurate with age but overall it’s a great looking coupe that polishes up well and has a good shine. The passenger rear quarter looks to have been repainted at some point prior to my ownership and has a fine ‘crazing’ to it which might polish out if you wanted to but hasn’t bothered me enough to do it.
The aircon doesn’t currently work due to a leaky rad but the compressor still works as it was tested last year. I will include a brand new rad and drier unit in the sale. The central locking stopped working a couple of months ago but I haven’t looked into that yet and do have a spare door lock mechanism and ECU just in case that’s the fault.

Genuine plus grille which has the two outer lower locating pegs missing but the centre one still intact so fits fine.
Plus steering wheel with red stitching.
A pair of brand new genuine door aperture rubber seals in the bags for left and right side.
Drivers door handle

20vt Turbo heat sheild X 2
20vt expansion tank in good condition with decal still on.
Wiper motor linkage.
Passenger window mech.
Bootlid liner and fixings for a 20vt.
