I've been feeling 3rd class service from Glynwood for a couple of years...slow to process renewals - a lot of running around my end as there customer for them. Price wise...its not been special either.

Went to Hagherty today- the coupe isn't covered on the website - so had to ring them.

Bloody glad I did- relaxed 10 minute chat with Charlie. Agreed value, retaining car, choice of which specialise to use to repair if in an accident, 90 days eu travel -free counter cover for any club members insured through them to counter drive each others cars, some limited track use. I opted for 3K limited mileage - as mine is a weekend car. And they take most mods too (my cars standard)

My cars kept off road in locked garage...£279.And not one photograph, or email needed be provided to them.

Bingo - they are the coupe's new Insurers. And I'm feeling very good about the move to them.

Charlie even wished me "good fun in the sun with your car this summer". Yep a sales line-but someone with a bit of character not like a 15 year old on the end of a phone you get in most high street places.

Bit of commission goes to the club - and I see nothing wrong with that. This was a good club recommendation! thumb

Cheers all,

MM

Snap another happy customer!!! Most helpful over the phone setting everything up was hassle free and a really rather inexpensive policy considering the level of cover and EU breakdown.

Just tried them. They wont cover me for occasional business use.

Back to Adrian Flux I suspect...
