Yes, I must agree as the 600 Multipla was the first to be advertised as the "multipurpose vehicle", decades before Japanese manufacturers used the term.

Even the revived Multipla of the early 2000s had that feature with its removable seats etc.

Reminds me of how apparently ''Fiat were making coupes when other manufacturers were struggling to spell the word.''
