Greetings, what are the specs of cams in Tipo 2.0 16v 109kw compared to the ones in 2.0 16v coupe? I found whole 2.0 16v with cams so I was wondering is it worth putting it in my coupe.

no.. there is slight difference in head - combustion chamber size 107kW has bigger, but flat top pistons, however 102kW is slightly smaller with small bowl in pistons.. otherwise the heads/valve size are the same

As long as your coupe is not turbo charged, then it should be okay. You will need a remap afterwards though due to the different cam profiles

worth is just only use the cams (unless you don´t d complete overhaul before fit)... keep the tipo head as spare part in your shed..

remap could be vital to gain all benefits from the cams...

installation is easy as with other cams.. but you have to set valve clearance to run it quitly, smoothly and without risk of camlobe damage...

if you don´t know how to, or dont have tools and spare shims of various thickness dont do it... (let it to do special garage, who knows these fiats)

performance gain - depends on how you timing, if it was afterwards adjusted (fuel/ignition) etc... by swapping only, you will notice hardly any.. maybe

I am not looking for 200hp,more like some 30hp increase, because I plan to refresh the engine completly,do some head work, remap and raise the compression. Think it is doable?
