Speed Red N/A vis Coupe 2.0 20v year 2000, £800
Cambelt etc just replaced (on 21st March 2019)
MOT to October 2019
Engine and model: 2.0 20v N/A vis
Body colour: Speed red
Interior colour and material: Black cloth
Manufactured in: 2000
# of previous owners: 6, owned by me since July 2013.
Known technical issues: Central locking sometimes doesn't lock remotely, works fine with key. The tracking on the front wheels needs doing. Passenger side front tyre needs replacing as worn on inner edge. The boot catch sometimes sticks and won't shut first time.
General condition in and out: Interior is good, has the usual sticky feeling centre console. All original mats are present.
The rubber and plastic inner on the nearside front wheel arch has come off. I still have the rubber part, and Gaz at Just Right Autos (01993 778060) has located the plastic part ready to be fitted. It has been made safe by an AA patrolman and can still be driven.

I am in Newbury, Berkshire
No engine warning lights and oil pressure is 2.5
There were some advisories on the last MOT, you can look them up on Gov UK MOT check. I have not done many miles since and so they might still be just advisories next time. The oil leak has been sorted (new rocker cover gasket in March)
The cam belt kit, water pump, and auxiliary drive belts, were all replaced by Gaz (formerly at Solo Italia, now Just Right Autos) in March 2019, at a cost of £562.21
Other new parts: fuel pump and fuel line, bonnet struts, radiator, brake pipes, track control arms, front springs, air mass (£299). The fly by wire throttle has been repaired. It has a new battery.
Servicing was mostly done by Solo Italia, apart from the Fuel pump which was fitted by a local garage because the AA would not take it further than 8 miles from me in Newbury.
This Coupe is excellent mechanically but the bodywork needs help! There is lacquer peel everywhere except on the bonnet. There are some jealousy scratches. The passenger door is dented, as is the rear quarter, and the rear nearside corner, due to some poorly judged reversing where I hit a parked car. The Coupe was deemed a write off by Footman James and so it will now be flagged as having "damage, non-structural".
I have bought another car with the insurance money, so the Coupe will go on SORN, and is surplus to requirements. I don't want it to go the same way as my first Coupe, which stood on my front lawn until it was too rusty to rescue. I don't have the funds for a full respray or to sort out the dents. Perhaps you do?
