Yep it's the only Lanc flying this side of the Atlantic, The only other one still flying in the world is based in Canada.
in 2014 it was flown over here and the two of them displayed at various airshows. Picture was taken from Wings and Wheels that year at Dunsfold.

You lucky, lucky bastard. The closest I got was when I was in the Navy and a Fairey Firefly taxied passed when I was on the line. It was a Griffon, not a Merlin, but still sounded amazing when it ran down the runway.

It was heading north so suspect it was a show of force from HMG on these IndyRef2 rebels ;-). Fairey Firefly - that's going back a bit Grigio!
