I have a 20VT in for breaking - our first for more than a year. The car originally came in for possible engine work, but on inspection, it has rust everywhere and would be a pretty spectacular MOT fail. The estimate to put it right was £4k - £5k

Stuff that's NOT available - engine / wheels / anything on or around the rear subframe (very rusty)

So, some of the bigger parts for now:-

Sunroof

Quite possibly, the best sunroof I've seen in a very long time. There is a little bit of rust on the drain tubes, but that's it. The photos show a couple of the drain tubes - one after five minutes with some emery cloth. A bit of Hammerite will see it perfect again. Comes with all the brackets and fixings, plus the headlining if required.

click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge

£300 - strictly collection-only - there's no way I'm trusting a glass roof to the postal or courier system

Headlamps

Very good condition - would benefit from a light mopping to make them even better. No scratches.

£100 + £15 P&P

Bonnet

Recently resprayed in Steel Grey - general condition is good, but there is rust in the seams on both sides. It can be rescued with a bit of effort, or simply as-is to replace a knackered bonnet

click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge

£100 - Collection only

Front bumper

Steel Grey - recently resprayed, with the black bottom section also painted. Very good condition

£95 collected

Rear bumper

Steel Grey - recently resprayed, with the black bottom section also painted. Very good condition. Comes with both reflectors (which I would normally charge at least £10 a side for)

£95 collected

More bits to follow....

Nigel, have you kept the plastic wheelarch liners particularly the offside wheelarch. If you have one can you confirm price and delivery cost. You can contact me by replying to this post or text on 07917358246
Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave - wheelarch liners aren't out yet, but should be at some point - front or rear?

At the risk of doing myself out of a sale, did you know that you can get new ones for £40 from Partsworld?

The bonnet is still attached to the car, which is at Motormech in Birmingham

If you can get to Motormech on Saturday morning, we can both swap it over, but it’s a two-man job. You will need to squirt some penetrating oil on all eight of your headlamp bolts, especially the four nuts on the studs

Let me know if you can make it

Unusual request, but does this have the rear sun blinds. I am after the hooks and screws that hold these to the roof.
Thanks

If the answer is "no" as I suspect, try ebay for the sunblind which comes with enough to fit to the two recesses at the rear of the lining. Mine came from a supplier in Perth for around £12.

You will need to mount it though - we've use two brackets which locate on the seatbelt mounting bolts. If I can access a pic I'll post it.

Thanks again, Photobucket.

Sorry, no. I can't remember the last time I saw a Coupe with OE rear blinds

Thanks

Nigel,
The parts i were after were the ECU and Lock Set, the Silver Trim panel that goes across the front of the car, the Coolant hoses (if they're any good), possibly the doors as well.
Can you give me an idea on price.
Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave - great to meet you last Saturday

I can do the ECU and lock set for £100

Pair of doors will be £75, but I'll have to charge something if you want them fitted - its at least a couple of hours work. If you want to fit them yourself, you'll need to collect in a van - they are heavy and bulky (and easily damaged in transit)

Dash panel is already off the car - its in good condition - £20

Not sure about the coolant hoses until they come off the car, but in all honesty, I'd recommend you replace the entire coolant hose set with silicone hoses - They are £160, but worth it for the peace of mind. Speak to John at Midland Car Servicing and tell him I sent you. 07905 143 578

Does it have aircon? If so, are the two pipes that fit to the compressor in reasonable condition and for sale?

Hi Dave - congratulations on getting it through the MOT. Our car is on one of the ramps waiting for the remaining parts to be removed - should be in the next week or two, as we don't want to tie up the ramp for too long
