The time has finally come to sell my Sprint Blue Plus, I’ve owned her since 2006 and it is a bit of a wrench, but she deserves a comfortable retirement.

Price: £4500
2000 20vT Plus
Sprint Blue
Recaro leather with red stitching
3 owners
122,000 miles
MoT till 20th December 2019
Standard except for Forge DV006 dump valve, K&N panel filter and Quicksilver Cat back exhaust (looks standard)
Full service history, from original receipt for £24k! (Fiat for the first year, specialists since, PowerItalia have looked after it since 2005)

Good points
Clutch replaced 5k miles ago
2 new front tyres less than 1k miles ago
Have all the keys, manuals, service book
Has been utterly reliable, complete waste of 13 years RAC membership.
Original paint (rear bumper was resprayed when the lease company sold it) (see also bad points)
Never been on a track.

Bad points
Front brake pipes / hoses may need some attention (see MoT history online)
Aircon needs servicing and regassing
Blower doesn’t work (it started off cutting out over bumps and eventually died altogether)
Think the heater matrix has a slight leak (car mists up more than it should)
Passenger seat doesn’t slide to allow access as it should. (it works properly otherwise)
Passenger door restraint strap has snapped.
Those pesky dash buttons have done their sink in slightly thing (thanks MoT guy…)
It lives on the street so has parking dings, nothing too serious apart from one on the bonnet next to the LH sidelight and a scrape on the offside front.
Suffers from lacquer peel on the roof, bootlid, bonnet and mirrors.
Aluminium corrosion on some of the B pillars and lock casings
Underseal needs redoing.

Comes with the following spares.
Brand new plus alloy wheel. (bought when it failed an MoT on a bent rim, only to find when I took it elsewhere it passed, and has done ever since)
S/H fuel filler cap
S/H B pillars
S/H lower centre console (actually bought for my previous Coupe but I’ll chuck it in anyway)

Car was purchased from Cleveland Cars Sussex on a lease deal (registered April 2000), it was sold on after a year and was bought by a forum member (who upgraded from a standard 20vT) who then sold it to me in 2006 (I also upgraded from a standard 20vT!)
It had 70k miles on the clock when I bought it, and it’s been my daily driver ever since.
Literally all I’ve had to do is put fuel, water and oil in it and drive it to Poweritalia once a year and pay Roger whatever he tells me it requires.
Mechanically then it is pretty good, the bodywork lets it down (although it still looks good when clean and shiny)
It was featured in AutoItalia magazine in December 2008

Would suit either someone who wants to do a full strip and restore, or someone who has the space and tools to do the bits above as and when whilst still using it.

I’m not looking to entertain any offers really, it’s a very rare model / colour combination, so if you think it’s a bit overpriced given the bad points above, I have put a rarity tax on it, hence the price.
If it doesn’t go on here it’ll end up on the ‘bay.

So, please ask me any questions / request additional photos etc before you come and see it as I’m not going to be knocking money off.

I remember reading the magazine feature, it was against a Lotus Elise amongst others. The journo commented that it felt the fastest of the bunch!
A very rare Plus colour. I’ve always liked your car Ed. GLWTS.

Coopless!
