Has anyone tried that intercooler on a Fiat Coupe? In my Marea Weekend is currently 2.0 20VT engine, with stock power (replicated Brasil Marea).
Engine is fully rebuilt two years ago (not forged), and now is time for some more power. New turbo is Garrett GT2860RS, and we wont push the engine over 290 HP at this stage.
As I could find on the forums, the stock ic is ok for max 260/270 HP, and front mounted ic not an option at this time. Pics of the upgraded Xtrem Motorsport ic are in the attachment.

Personally I'd invest in a front mount as these side mounts are very restrictive due to there size meaning cooling will be an issue above 270.

Guess you are right. The manufacturer also confirmed it is not suitable for more than 250/260 HP. Thats funny, because the stock ic can do it too. Nice way to waste 240 euros (without shipping) for something that is almost the same as the OEM part.
Front mount is definitely the proper solution, will get it done as soon as I get some more free time.

Isn't that the one I fitted to mine Joe? In which case it is good for 275bhp at least!
