i will post up a pic once the cars done and dusted and the drivers seat is repaired.
but to cut a long story short i got given a pair of the above for free and have tried them in the car and to my amazement they fit (requireing one or two tweekes).
they fit the ft floor mounts perfect and bolt straight in but the rears will need a slight moddification in order for then to be secured.
i recon these are gonna look well trick especially with the alfa logo in the centre and the red piping on the outside!!
anyone alse tried other seats in there coop?

Probably would do Per. I cant see it being a big job to make up some mounting plates though as long as they are torqued up well they shouldnt move in a crash at all

the alfa seats llook like they have no side bolsters either though. the nice thing about the recaro is it is more supportive. as for swapping the seats round, think about it for a minute or two

I think that Alfa seat looks 'ly just a shame its a different black otherwise i think when i am sorted money wise with new job i would have been VERY VERY tempted. Altho i have sat in Kevin's car and his group buy seats i was VERY impressed with So now need to find out where you guys have got them from? or not as the case may be (so its cheaper for my wallet)

Are you going to get some Skoda wheel centres too?
no but i got a ferrari mini cap in the rear window!! only italian for me lol!!!
theres no modification needed for the ft mount just the rear !!
and depending on the thickness of the bracket i will need to fabricate it should sit maybe 3mm higher!! not really noticeable!!
so far its cost me £50 to get the seat refurbed as i paid nothing for the seats!!
i will get pics up in the next week or so wen i get the car back from motormech!!

no mine has a hole in the bolster so its getting re-trimmed
if you remove the seat and oil up all the moving parts with wd40 and tighten all the joints too then they should be ok unless something has worn to a point of no return!!

Thread resurrection! Has anyone managed to fit GTV seats? From the pictures it looks like there's gonna be some fabrication needed. Also, are they grippier than the standard leather seats in the Coop? Best option would be to find plus/LE seats, but those are extremely difficult to find.
Thanks!

I would try and get the 147GTA seats (good luck with that) the Momo GTV seats are not great, look good but sit too high/or on them rather than in them. I have had my GTV seats modified in my GTV so I sit lower in them (the seat foams were cut lower etc) and they are much better and hug more but I still would not bother putting GTV seats into a Coupe. Hyundai Coupe seats will apparently work as Nigel above I think did it at one time.

Thank you for your input, Submariner! I was looking at some non-momo leather seats, and I've been told that they're better than the Momo, in regards to the desperately needed 'hug' in the Coupe. Or maybe it's not the case at all - I haven't tried any. Nigel said that it's possible to install them with the Coupe seat brackets - but dunno if anyone actually tried that. If it's possible to install them using the base brackets from the coupe ones, and without going much higher than normal seats, then that would be great. Regarding the GTA seats - they would be also quite difficult to obtain.. and I guess even lower chance of installing them without welding/drilling the chassis.
