Despite the loooong list of mods and the silly power AND wanting an agreed valuation, I've just added my Coupe to my multi-car policy with Footman James for the faintly ridiculous price of £105 - well pleased

Interesting to find that while the Coupe and my Westfield don't attract NCB, my daily-driver (Alfa GT) still gets NCB

That's three cars, with a combined power of well over 800bhp insured for significantly less than £500 - one of the benefits of being an oldie?

Is that a full year on the multi car for the Coupe? I found bringing cars on to multi car policy with Admiral great value at first but then they ripped me off at the annual renewal. I have 7 individual policies works out far cheaper....especially as most are modern classics.

Also with NCB not racking up on the cars that are modified/higher risk, should the worse happen or you use an individual policy it may well cost more in the future.

No - only one is garaged (the Westfield)

No, not quite, but it's still less than half what Classicline wanted for the renewal. The Coupe wasn't attracting NCB anyway with Classicline, but I will certainly be very wary at the renewal date - I'm from Yorkshire, so I always spend some time shopping around - can't bear to part with money unneccesarily

After reading complimentary posts re FJ I decided to have a word with them yesterday to compare with ClassicLine (that has previously used ERS and now First Underwriting) and they came up with an agreeably comparable quote which includes £12 for agreed value and £15 for salvage retention plus full value claim. Only £200 excess as well as opposed to £500. Both were for 3k annual mileage.

The quote was a lot higher than figures bandied about here though as I do live in the capital city, park on a public road and will be insuring the newly-restored coupé for 20k....
