Another happy customer today with the coupe insured for another year amd peace of mind with the included European breakdown cover for our Italian Road Trip 2020.

And all for just a smidgen over £200 for the yellow coupe.

You did slightly better then me,

Full comp - plus international travel (Europe really unless I make a mad dash to the Sahara ala' Harry Metcalf in his Testarrosa) track days (limited to 3) and the normal legal cover and car should I break down far away. On top of agreed value.

£281 for the year. Happy with that.

And extremely happy with the quick, efficient and conversational way Haggerty do business!

Well done MM the European travel really is a huge bonus not that I ever want to have to make that call but its got to be there before setting off. Harry is good I really enjoy the road trip stuff he does can happily watch it over and over driving thumb

There always seems to be good chat on the phone to Hagerty which was rather unsuspecting the first time I called.

Rosso,

Its even more fun if you follow his lead and go somewhere.

I took my coupe to Nurburgring a couple of years ago - did a couple of laps on an open day and then drove home. Continental adventure through France, Belgium, Germany and back - huge fun. Good memories for the coupe.

Brexit has dampened the ease, and then covid the ability to do a Route Napolean trip this year....but next year-who knows!

:-)

Without a doubt I wish i could go as often as Harry

I was only the other night watching the Ferrari 812 1000-mile road trip to the south of France. Tremendous trip although not so keen on the car.

and how do Hagerty go with track insurance? excellent how many miles did you do on that trip? The roads are great so easy to cover the miles.

We have 2 weeks for our September trip and with 3 days getting there and 3 for the return with a week in the middle to take it easy and explore. I think our trip for next year might need to be over 3 weeks as there's so much more we could seen with an extra week... right enough there's the extra cost of course.

Yeh who knows what lies ahead for next year with covid and brexit.

HI Rosso,

I'm looking forward to reading all about your Continental Adventure when you come back!

Re the Nurburgring - the road is a public road, which is closed for the serious races. On a race day, its full harness, fire extinguishers and helmet. On a public road day - its just another road in Germany, without speed restrictions so no issues re foreign insurance

I'd likely force myself to enjoy that 812 :-)

Regards

MM

Most if not all normal UK insurance specifically excludes driving at the Nurburgring, check the snall print (usually on the cover note)

Hi Dave,

I asked specifically for the cover- as I knew I was going there. And was considering two other events that year.

They have kept it in as part of the quote on renewal since. I'm not a track user- but the ring was good fun on the day I did it, when it was an open public road.

Immense good fun! But I can appreciate everything would ante up if you went on a race day! I went on a track days years ago-and it was fun, but not really been interested in returning to it since I have had the coupe.

Regards

MM
