Just recently done a full belt/tensioner water pump ,oil/filter service myself. Feeling quite chuffed as it sat in the garage. Then one day as i switched off the lights i noticed the red light of alternator doom lit on the dash. Ummed and ahhhd about repairing it myself but thought no i will get a recon unit. Found one on ebay for my 20v na without aircon just up the motorway in Preston 19 smile £68.99!!!!!!!! BARGAIN. Ordered it on saturday and yesterday(sunday 7pm) a van from the firm pulled up outside. The guy dropped it off and i gave him my old one in exchange. Gobsmacking good service i was stunned. As i was so grateful for this i thought i would share with you all. The alternator looks like new too. SGR tel 07845615728 ebay.sgr.uk@gmail.com

Great news!

You have to watch out for the coupes playing little tricks on you all the time like this.

I've long held the theory that Coupes get upset servicing, fresh oil and any sign of improvement work. They usually sulk and spit their dummies out straight away!

Good catch- hope she runs well now.

Regards

MM
