In the driving seat!
I've had my current coupe for 14 years now and done most things except cambelts myself. Great help from the forum and FCSS in particular. Where I live in France, my coupe is the only one for miles around. Everyone knows my car and I get flashed and waved at by loads of people. It is now 23 years old and just had its Controle Technique (MOT) and only failed on 2 front tyres and number plate lights..Tyres replaced and just waiting for new lights from Joe. Frequently draws admiring glances and the other night I was asked if it was a Porche! I quickly disabused them of that idea. If you work out the annual cost it has been superb and I have definitely had my moneys worth. I even keep getting a guy who wants to buy it! Coupes may be a little idiosyncratic but I am more than happy with my purchase all those years ago. Still on original clutch, Upgraded the lights to HIDs and LEDs. Stainless exhaust and Widget fitted. Needs new mats now though.

There is nothing quite like the Coupes. They were a one-off when they were first built and now are seen few and far between.

If serviced and looked after- they tend to have a really fantastic reliability. Its the electrics now which cause a few stops and starting issues mainly.

Glad your still enjoying yours after all this time!!

Regards

MM

I've recently changed my suspension back to standard ride height and springs and have started to really enjoy my LE again, no wincing as I go over ruts and po holes and the quiet roads late in the evening allow me to stretch her legs smile

So... you wait till we're moving out before you modify the car to standard so you don't have to creep over our local humps? Is there something you should be telling us? tongue
