Hello,

just short technical question..

Will the chip intended for 4Q4 P8 (Coupe 16V NA) ecu work in 4Q5 P8 ecu (Lancia Delta 16V NA)?

I need some ecu for my project engine for tipo sedicivalvole (only ported head, raised compression, mix of 102/107kW cams and kappa intake manifold) and I have Flea chip for 16v NA,which I´d like to use in it, but only available ecu is 4Q5 from delta... but I dont want to purchase it utill I will be 100% sure it will work...

I found in the past some bin files for coupe and delta and if I remember well they looked same.. but its long time and don´t have the files anymore..

Without seeing full circuit diagrams for both ECUs it's impossible to tell. I would wonder why the two ECUs have different type numbers, because any difference - not just in the major chips but even things like transistor drive resistor values - can either partially or completely invalidate the software. You may be lucky and get an answer from Weber/Magnetti Marelli; I never did. Or possibly Flea might know?
