I've put it down to truculent adolescence, my coop has been blowing it's top recently literally loosing it's cool(ant) on 3 occasions and doing itself a lot of damage. I now think it's mixing with the wrong crowd spending far too much time down at the Italian Specialists hanging out with all the Alfas and even Lancias, some of them are a bad influence, spending far too much time on their appearance and performance, judging by their muscles I should think some of them are on drugs (steroids I'd imagine).
Should have seen the signs earlier, stroppy refusal to open doors, bonnet, hand brake, air bag lights on dashboard etc. There was a well behaved coop at the specialists when mine arrived last with over 200k on the clock and it's owner aiming for 300k, I'm just hoping it will be a good influence and it will be a reformed character when it eventually returns.

Nah, Coops are old cars, so it's more like cantankerous middle age.

Keep the faith respace,

Its obviously trying to tell you something is not right to make it sick 3 times like that. Could be anything from a leaky hose, to a motor problem. But nothing that can't be fixed!

The issue becomes when you have paid out for 2/3 times for work and find yourself coming back to the same issues....so its good to get a professional assessment.

Hopefully she is back on the road soon.

Regards

MM

Quote from JKD, 'Nah, Coops are old cars, so it's more like cantankerous middle age.'

Given the incontinence problems mine seems to be having it be may beyond middle age! I think I'm turning into Victor Meldrew as I frequently find myself saying 'I don't believe it!' So maybe we are both geriatric.

It was probably the hose first time, a leaky sensor second, and now it seems like it's the matrix. Unfortunately the guy that runs the shop is ill at present so it's taking longer than usual.
