Well after an epic MOT fail at a local garage in Warrington, welding (could see carpet through one of the holes), emissions (new cat will cost you £300) etc etc took the car to Turin Motors in Leeds. 4 weeks later all done, prefabricated parts etc and emissions down to the engine being insufficiently warmed up grr So yes I should have known better - Italian car / coupe specialists is the only way to go to save you in the long run and for peace of mind. So a shout out to them all and to Chris and the team at Turin Motors thumb

Nice one Alan thumb

Our project has just gone through its prelim MoT and passed on all but fiddly bits which we knew about, headlight level, airbag light, wheel bolts missing, rear reflector loose....but all do-able smile

Airbag ecu now swapped which fixed the warning light, remaining wheel-bolts fitted, fuelcap seal on the way so not far now!

Well Done G_Man! A good result smile

Mines due in January, I also used Poweritalia last year because they know the cars Foibles, it did need £300 worth of welding (Rear floor jacking point deteriorated) last time. This time I'll be looking at two new Front Tyres, a new Airbag ECU as they couldn't reset the light I have one Tank strap left so that also may be an MOT failure so I will need to get on to Joe about a new pair plus anything else that fails smile
