With a windfall landing in my bank account just before Christmas, I decided to treat myself to a new car. The TTRS which I picked up in the summer will now be my wife's runaround along with her X-Trail.
I've always liked the Mercedes A45, so after looking at a few online I finally plumped for a 2018, 1 owner, 16k miles model. It's a lovely car, with all the toys and is in mint condition. It's running Stage 1, 412bhp and 440 lbs/ft of torque. I love it!

Nice motor! I looked at them when I bought my E63, just couldn’t squeeze the 3kids in the back of the A45 frown what’s the 4 pot sound like?

For a 4 pot it's not too bad. It has the Sports Exhaust which is a vast improvement on the stock exhaust. The downshifts in Sports+ are lovely.

Surely the correct answer to maintain forum tradition is "ridden"?
No disrespect to your new whip, Bezzer, which is a beast!

Sorry Jim, I'm so out of touch with Forum tradition!

You never put up any pics of the TTRS that followed the Focus. I suspect, as it was cheaper than the Focus, that it was a MK2?

I do quite like look of the Mercedes A series, even though is is more of a hatch than a coupé, you know I prefer Coupé shapes laugh

Hi Bob, yes it's a 2011 car. A couple of pics of it below. I would take a few more but it's currently under 6 inches of snow!

Very nice, did you go with DSG or Manual?

When I first saw the release of the MK2 I was really tempted to leave my Coupé and get one. Sadly it just didn't quite work for me, it took the MK3 to push me over the edge. Thing is, years later I've grown to really like my Wife's MK2 roadster!
