If that belongs on your coop you may have a problem. I always end up with a collection of washers and things at the end of a job but nothing that big.

It reminds me of a bump stops for the back of a truck bumper, allows a soft landing against a loading bay.

You said it was heavy, maybe a weighted base for something, maybe a barrier or similar?

Looks like a wedge you'd put in an axe handle or hammer, a very big axe or hammer!
