Ha! Hole in cover - keeps traffic wardens happy. Except for the twit the other day who was about to book it for "no permit" (in spite of having seen it every day on his rounds), insisting on entering P two-zero Victor-Tango on his machine instead of trying P two Oscar-Victor-Tango If it hadn't been for one of my trusty neighbours ringing the doorbell to alert me to this I'd have been contributing to completely wasting everyone concerned's time by appealing the PCN. We are reasonably fortunate here not to have too many nutters passing by and my neighbours are quite protective of its well-being, especially when their kids pester them "where's the yellow car mummy/daddy" which happened over most of lockdown....actually the adults did it too Indeed it has a ceramic coat "lite" which may last 12 months or so, not costing the exorbitant amount often advertised, and the cover might even prolong the life of that a bit.

IMy coupe lives outside, I bought another cover for it two weeks ago for it after the cat had destroyed the last one a couple of years ago

If anyone needs a cover, I have an unused Halfords heavy duty outside cover, still in its bag, that I was holding back for when the previous cover finally gave up. Why not ping it over to the Parts for Sale section Nigel with a couple of pics, I may know of folk with some interest up here?

So....(apologies J_C)
...how many on here, unlucky not to have the luxury of a garage, keep their coop under a cover?
It's something a mate of mine recommended for years but as usual it took me long enough to follow his advice to offer some winter protection and ward off the paint-sapping u/v light, not to mention save on copious amounts of washing here on this main road.
The respray during restoration clinched it.
I have one like that. Haven't used it for years as I now have a garage (very lucky). I once put it on when the car was slightly damp and there was seagull shite on the roof (I know, I know). So it was my own fault when the seagull shite and movement of the damp cover burned a hole in paintwork. You live and learn... so they say!
