To be honest if you do that you'll lose a load of turning circle, you're better off with the standard rack, also the n/a design has a cast pivot point in the centre of the casing for the rod controls, you don't have that on the turbo or Alfa version.
Just picking up on the above; I didn't think the turbo had a quicker rack in ratio terms, but more that it's travel left to right was less, therefore you got quicker lock to lock in the turbo. But as above, at the cost of turning circle.
