I gave him that idea in Turin.

In return he gave me a sketch of a coupe on a paper napkin

Or might have been my imagination.......

Great find Bob thumb
Having been at his house together with Luca back in 2014 I'm afraid that your imagination must have taken the better of you Toby wink
His house in itself is a perfect example of Chris' creativity. Check out the web and have a look at his swimming pool idea
@Big Benches: could this be the starting point of a Coupé trip to Piemonte where we visit each bench and it's designer? laugh

Forum readers might be interested to know that one of our esteemed Dutch community, Alesi, has been heavily involved with the installation of the first ever Big Bench in the Netherlands - Hilvarenbeek to be precise.

Having been fascinated by the idea after the Chris Bangle constructed the first outside his own house, Alesi happened to meet someone involved in a local tourist office who, before she left that position, managed to raise interest in the idea with her colleagues. Subsequent to this, around a year ago, he applied for permission to find sponsors and appropriate craftsmen; between them and the efforts of a team of others the project has finally come to fruition.
