After owning my Coupe since 2007 it is now finally time to say goodbye. As I live on the Isle of Wight it is very hard to attract buyers to come and view (although it does keep the 'tyre-kickers' & 'test pilots' away), and as cars like mine can be hard to put a price on I have decided to let the market decide and have place my car for sale with the highly respected site 'Car & Classic' using their auction sale process. The car is now live, and you can view the listing here:https://www.carandclassic.com/auctions/2000-fiat-coupe-20v-turbo-gNN35g
All the relevant information you need is here.
I like this service because there are so many photos (148) that you can really see what you are getting, and the write up is by C&C giving their honest opinion. The listing will be open for bids from next Sunday 11th September, and will conclude the following Sunday the 18th. C&C extend the listing by 5 minutes when there are last minute bids (unlike ebay) so please don't sit at your device waiting for 30 seconds before closing to make your bid.
It didn't get a mention in the listing, but I displayed the car on the club stand in November 2018 where it drew much attention. It also doesn't mention that the previous owner must have had some mapping done as there was a print out from a dyno-testing showing 255bhp, but there are no physical modification to be seen, under the bonnet it appears 100% original.
I really have put heart and soul into this car, but I'm afraid keeping in perfect condition is a distraction from the renovation of my Aston Martin DBS which I really must get on top of as its been 6 years in restoration so far!
If you are the winning bidder and you are a member of the FCCUK (even if you have only just joined) I will include a FREE EXTRA 8 spoke alloy wheel. (And you can buy a sixth wheel if you are into track days - although I kinda hope not)
If you would like to come and visit me you would be very welcome and I would collect you from any of the ferry terminals.
I hope , of course, W133 VOO will go to a good home and be cherished for years to come. Please ask if I can provide any detail not covered in the advert.
