A very happy Christmas to everyone - it may be "back to normal" for some of us but it's still challenging for others in difficult economic circumstances. Let's hope for better times in the coming year.

Season greetings Simon and everyone else. Bad start for my family, my son is hospitalised, chronic seizures, the whole family is rallying round, to cap it all coming back from town this morning in the daily the bloody back box fell off. Merry Christmas indeed.

Ah, really sorry to hear this Jim, I hope your son stabilizes quickly and allows you some respite over Christmas.

I'm sorry that folk have had a rough year, keep your chins up.

Every morning, look in the mirror and say 'look out world, here I come !'

Makes no difference, but it does put a little smile on your face !

Merry Christmas everyone!

If it is any consolation, and I doubt it will be, but the Chinese have been dreading 2022 for a long time as the number two is considered unlucky.
Normally I'd be very cynical of such things, but having survived, by the skin of my dentures, through 2022, I welcome our new msters and their superior knowledge! laugh

Cheer up, they said, it could be worse: I did, and it was! frown

Merry Christmas!

Bah humbug!

Hope everyone had a good a Christmas as they could.

I was working today, but had the late afternoon with family and then evening at home with two of the grandsons, so can't complain (the youngest grandson wanted to go back home to play with his toys ) laugh

jimboy, I hope everything works out ok for you.

Yesterday: the kids and grandkid came round: roast beef, roast gammon, pigs in blankets (sorry Stan!), sprouts, roast sweet potato and parsnips, sprouts with bacon, stuffing, two sorts of mash...

Today, curiously, roast beef, roast gammon, pigs in blankets (sorry Stan!), sprouts, roast sweet potato and parsnips, sprouts with bacon, stuffing, two sorts of mash... and possibly tomorrow and most of the rest of the week laugh

We are spreading ourselves around friends and family this Christmas around the UK and will be on the road to see in the New year Up North! Seasons Greetings to one and all and I really hope 2023 is a massive improvement over 2022.
This year has been a personal challenge for me and my family with my prostate cancer diagnosis in February but I can count myself lucky that although the diagnosis is advanced that i am responding well to treatment and I intend to keep my positive pants on.
God bless us one and all xmas snowman beer

Ah sorry to hear that Cooperman, hope things turn out for the better. 2019 I had a scare myself but eventually got the all clear so I have some idea what you’re going through. We all have a story and we all handle things in our own way. Just to say my son is now at home and making progress. Both my wife and I and the rest of the family hold our breath for what’s about to come.

That's good news jimboy and excellent too to hear Cooperman's treatment has been going well thumb

Sorry @Jim_Clennell that this has been an annus horribilis and hope that the coming year sees a distinct improvement!
