My Plus stopped starting and the oil light was on with the ignition off, so I had a look at the wiring diagram and diagnosed the diodes in the alternator. After much pain and suffering, I managed to remove the alternator from my Plus without disconnecting the Air Con. It's a nearly impossible job, especially on a jack, but I didn't want to pay to get the A/C re-gassed. Depending on the price, I'd like to get hold of either a new alternator (A127IR-100A) or replace the diodes. Does anyone know where I can get the parts?

given your location, I'd say you might have more chance by simply going to a local auto electrician who 'refurbs' alternators/stater motors, and letting them fix it for you

I'm not really that concerned with the cost, or if it takes a couple of weeks to get here. If it's the same as an Alfa 156 14v-100A Magneti Marelli, I can get one from AlfaWorkshop for 225 quid.
