Yep, in spite of us being only 3 this time, it was a good opportunity to christen the Coleman event shelter under the Scottish heavens which mercifully beamed down the whole day. The organisers had almost cancelled the event 2 days earlier as the incessant rain had created quagmires over the hilly terrain but luckily Saturday's sun dried out most of it - I say most, our pitch was right next to a dip which was so boggy Paul got stuck on arrival - twice! We got him moving the first time but subsequently had to call the ground's 4x4 to tow him back onto firmer ground with good grace as well as technique The bad news was that some wheel-spinning had covered his beautifully polished wine-red with mud spatters But the team stepped up and soon had it all spick-and-span again, aided by young-grandson-fan who's always in granpa Paul's company at these things - great effort The real oddity came in the afternoon when a bloke wearing a stetson poked his head round saying he wanted to join the forum; I could have jumped over a doll's house when I discovered whom he actually was......none other than the phantom owner of 'abandoned' T5** BAN which was the subject of this thread
