Just a general observation this but my 22 yo MGTF has sailed through its MOT again without any advisories AND emissions have improved further from last year! My emissions were borderline in 2022 so last year I used Redex emissions reducer (there'll be others on the market) and it was fine. This year did the same again - full bottle then took it for an enthusiastic drive then dropped off this morning. Now either it's a coincidence or in fact the stuff actually works. Anyway for those of you with MOTs on the horizon it could be worth a punt if you have doubts on the emissions front smile

I put some Redex through every few tanks of fuel, or so.

Emissions are usually close to allowable at MOT time.

Tesco occasionally sell Redex at £2.50 a bottle, so it's worth a try.

Mine is usually ok with emissions - but really struggled this time to pass.

Tester said to take it out for an "Italian Tune up". 15 minutes later she passed with flying colours.

They like to be used.

Great news yours has passed

Regards

MM
