Sunday 1st September. It’s absolutely free!!

I’ve been tasked with drumming up as many Italian cars/coupes as I possibly can.

It’s located in Diss (Suffolk) you can get your tickets through Eventbrite. You select an adult ticket and a show pass.

I have 6 coupes already confirmed, be great to have many more.

Great event today with at least 8 coupes present.

If you click on the above link a photo will appear. Bizarrely, and brilliantly six coupe were parked in a prominent position in front of just about everything else. Unfortunately, as two other cars arrived later than the others, due to (I believe) the amount milling about, they were unable to join the main display. This event just gets better and better with each passing year. It seems to be arranged for the same day as the Italian Grand Prix, which is shown on a large screen in huge marquee. Antz from Sportivo was there in a Delta Integrale.

An event I actually managed to turn up for!

I did bring my coupe - but due to the time restrictions on shows (you must be here by xx, you cant leave until xxx etc) I parked it in the normal car park area as normal. It was really great to see so many Coupe's - not only proudly lined up - but in pride of place at the event! The Ferrari's had to sit in the row behind :-)

Good to speak to a few of the owners-and some of who proudly displayed their Turin '24 stickers!

Also spoke briefly with the owner of Auto Sportivo-who took the time to share his ongoing passion with the Coupe.

A great amount of other very interesting cars - I had to be hauled away from a great looking dark blue 550 maranello with the obligatory manual gear box. And some of the other 1950's models at the rear of the display area were also a bit of a treat.

Italian refreshments/good facilities/and the weather was very sunny and very hot.

An event for those in the London/Essex/Cambridge/Peterborough areas to consider.

Regards

MM

One of the coupe's had come from Lincolnshire, while a gentleman with a 650 Zagato had driven from Worcestershire, albeit with the car travelling on a trailer.
