If you buy anything, and it fits inside a coupe with two people in the front, you have till the end of next week to deliver them to me... I'll be dropping the car off at Joes. After that, you'll have to wait until the Carlisle meet.
pm me if you need my address.
Neil
p.s. or looking at their delivery times, I could perhaps collect. Don't know if they allow that though...
Hi Neil - I wasn't hinting at anything but thanks for the offer But rather what exactly are they offering as they have other stuff for the coupe on eBay? Are they panel parts etc?
As an aside I've just bought a sill from a UK supplier which I'll be getting delivered in a few weeks time for the grand total of £55 inc carriage . The same part is available via Poland (I think) for £600 - go figure

Can't really help you there; my German's not that good. They're basically selling 'sheet metal' which isn't helpful, but I'd guess panel parts, given the name of the shop. Perhaps when they get the pictures up?
Is that a one off sill you've bought or have they got more? I've looked into getting them remanufactured but the people I've spoke to need a perfect example of a sill to be able to make a pattern from it. I couldn't find any and Joe wasn't aware of any either.

I may have just bought the last one as they are no longer in stock When I get it I'll put up a pic but your thoughts are the same as mine ie getting them copied. I don't actually need it but was planning for the future and thought I'd grab it when I had the opportunity. Of course the company may start manufacturing more in due course hopefully

Can you tell me who you got it from? If they've got more I'd happily buy one or two - because I need them and to try and get them remanufactured so we can all benefit from them!

The only issue with them as I can see from the pics is that they're not folded in at the ends but that's not uncommon for replacement sills in general. I suppose you'd need to get a body shop to add the end folds

Ok here's pics of the sill and it looks decent enough and matches up to the folds against the original on the car. Measures 1.9m. As we know the most vulnerable area is at the rear which measures c 50cm to the door so one sill gets 3 x repair sections. Of course ideally you'd get further sills cut against this as a template to build up a stock for the future
But having just checked they seem to be back in stock so grab your own
