OK expecting some leftfield unhelpful responses to this, the coop has moss in several places some quite inaccessible. I'm worried if it gets too developed it could force apart panels, in fairness it's not just the coop some of our other cars have it too, I guess it's the odd weather we're having, some say it's a sign of clean air so I'm tempted to spray some oil/smoke at it. Anyone had this?
In case you were tempted to say drive faster,'a rolling stone gathers no moss' this one does go, if not daily at least weekly and has done 2x 250mile trips in the last weeks without damaging the moss!

When you say inaccessible, do you have an example? Mine picks it up on the window rubbers, mainly at the bottom. Guess it's all the trees nearby that feeds it. The only thing other than a cover I find effective is a pre soak in traffic film remover and then a pressure wash. Just mindful you use the TFR sparingly as it can be potent stuff

I would as previously suggested pressure wash. The main areas in my experience are the window rubbers and the bonnet foam. Sunlight prevents 're growth but good luck with that ATM so when mine is outside and not in the garage spring summer etc i park mine differently to get sunlight all around it.

Thanks for the advice. I've tried presure washing which works on the surface; window seals etc but not around the lights, where the bumper joins the various body panels, mirrors, badges etc. It's pretty tough stuff, I'm using a sharp stick to scrap it out but not getting all of it so regrows. Worried I will damage the paintwork eventually.

I would think a Sharpe stick will damage. I would try a mould and mildew remover. HG mould spray works wonders. You can see it dissolve in front of your eyes. Do one area at a time and rinse very well. May need to agitate but I would use a soft bristle brush.

Never thought of that, I use it round the house with mixed results, works well on black mould but not on the yellowing you get on grout. Is it ok on the paintwork?

If you buy the caustic traffic film remover in concentrate you can mix your required strength. I've never had any trouble on paint. Just don't let it sit for too long and dry. As an added bonus, it works a treat at cleaning uPVC window frames and conservatories

What bits you can take apart and clean then I would do that.

A good blast with a pressure washer not able to blow out the crevices (being careful around the pininfarina side badges etc!)?
