Two events this year, 4th May and 7th September, held at Newby Hall, Ripon, North Yorkshire. £10 for car + driver to exhibit.

Is anyone thinking of going?
Is the club thinking of having a stand?
Has anyone been to it in previous years?

Andrew there are usually 2 or 3 owners that turn up to Newby but it's unlikely to be an official club meet.

Hello Andrew

I'm likely to be going to Newby italian car day.
I've been for the last several years and it's good.

Plenty of Alfas and Ferraris along with several interesting Lancias and other rarities.

Last year the weather was dreadful, so this year be prepared for a heatwave.

Paul

Hi Paul,

I think that’s a different event to the one I posted about. I can’t see a date listed for it yet this year but it looks like it’s been end of May in previous years. I probably won’t go to both though as it’s about 2 hrs from me. The sports cars one looks like it might have a bit more variety. I’ll have a think…

Cheers,
Andrew

It looks like the Italian car day is not going to be at Newby Hall this year and will be on 8 June at Norwood Park, Southwell which is very near to me so I’m going to book that: https://www.clubalfa.co.uk/events/national-italian-car-and-motorcycle-day-2025-656-744

Southwell is not really geared up for lots of traffic, it can be busy enough at the best of times so it could be a bit chaotic!

I’m also going to book the Newby Hall, Sports Cars in the Park at the beginning of May.

Hopefully see some of you at one (or both) of these events.

Andrew
