Hello everyone, it's been a while but circumstances have changed and I have an opportunity to save my 1996 16VT again (house purchase with garage) and I decided I want to get it running before getting it moved but need to get the fuel tank drained and filled with new petrol, (cars been sat over 10 years now) what's the best/easiest way of draining it.

When I was last at the car last year everything looked fine, checked spark plugs, oil etc, I'll definitely be changing the oil before attempting to start but all looked quite new, ill be checking to see if it turns over by hand too, the 16v that's with the 16vt turned over just fine when I was checking that and stripping parts off it.

hello all. Nice to hear someone with a similar story to mine. My 16V non turbo (1995) has been sat for around six years now since the head gasket went. It is now with a garage told to get it running - but not urgent.
